Debbie Adams
Receptionist

Debbie started her career at Landisville Animal Hospital in August 1999. She worked as a full-time Receptionist for five and a half years until she started a family in January 2005. Since then she continues to fill in on a part-time basis. Debbie added a 2nd child to her family in March 2009.

Heidi Gambler
Office Manager

Heidi starting working at Landisville Animal Hospital in the fall of 1998. Since a young age she has had a passion for animals and is always up for the challenge of rescuing animals who are in need of a second chance. Heidi shares her home with her husband, daughter and several dogs and cats! In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and hanging out at the barn with her two horses.

Mary Jacob
Certified Veterinary Assistant

Mary always knew her calling in life was to work with animals. She worked with Standard bred race horses for many years. She graduated from the LCTCC veterinary assistant program in 2008. Mary was hired at Landisville Animal Hospital in June 2010. She has 3 cats: Stella, Willow and Stormy. Mary enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Leah McCowan
Receptionist

Leah started at LAH in 2012. She lives in Mountville with her husband Brian.  They have 4 kids between them and most are grown and moved out! They share their home with the cutest Pittie named Chief.  Leah enjoys camping, going to Orioles baseball games, breweries, and boating.

Jenn Nickle
Veterinary Technician

Born into a farming family, Jenn’s love for animals started at a very young age. Although she did not attend a veterinary tech degree program, she is pleased to say she has learned from the best teachers here at Landisville Animal Hospital. Jenn joined the LAH team in January 2006. As with many others her technician duties advanced quickly and she soon expanded her jobs by becoming ” the fix it girl”. Behind the scenes she helps to keep computers and blood work machines functioning well. At home, Jenn enjoys spending time with her family and friends enjoying all life has to give.

Amanda Patterson
Certified Veterinary Technician

Amanda attended Wilson College and received her Certified Veterinary Technology degree in 1999. She began at Landisville Animal Hospital the summer of 1998. She is married and has two daughters. Amanda shares her home with her 3 cats and 2 dogs.

Mary Oyola
Anesthetic Nurse

Mary Oyola is an Anesthetic Nurse who also helps with appointments and the front desk. She obtained her Approved Veterinary Assistant degree at the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center in May of 2011 and continues her education in the anesthetic field. Mary has been with us since she interned in April of 2011. Her husband is Marco and her cat is named Pitter. She always says if it weren’t for her HOA she’d have a lot more animals. Mary is happy to answer any questions you might have when your pet undergoes surgery or a teeth cleaning.

Terry Rizzo
Certified Veterinary Technician

Terry is one of our Certified Veterinary Technicians. She earned her degree from Harcum College in December of 1993. She began her career with LAH in April 1994. After working full-time for four years, she and her husband Bryan started a family and now have three children; Ben born in 1998, Amanda born in 2001, and Lily born in 2004. Terry continues to work part-time as a Veterinary Technician and enjoys educating and interacting with our clients and their pets. Her home is shared by two dogs, Rosie, a Cairn Terrier and Libby, a Shih Tzu. Two cats, Karma (a rescue from outside her husband’s work) and Tipsy (who is deaf, and a gift from Alison here at Landisville!) There are also a couple birds…a cockatiel and a parakeet that showed up one day on the patio and a bearded dragon too.

Laurie Winters
Veterinary Technician

Laurie worked for a local veterinarian for 12 years before “retiring” to raise her three children. She re-entered the workforce and joined the dedicated and compassionate Landisville Animal Hospital team in 2016 as a veterinary technician. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, wildlife watching, and campfires- especially at their cabin in the mountains of northern PA.

Tomilyn Baham
Veterinary Technician

Tomilyn attended the LCCTC Vet Assistant program in her senior year of high school, and graduated in 2017. She then moved on to the LCCTC Veterinary Technician program in 2019 and did her externship at LAH, and started working here in December 2019. Currently, besides working at LAH, she also pet/house sits for some of our staff and clients here at Landisville. She loves going on nature walks, the beach, music, and of course animals. She has two cats, Mazie and Chester.

Erin Deamer
Veterinary Technician/Receptionist

Erin came to LAH in September of 2020, after having 12 years of experience in veterinary medicine at other clinics. Although she doesn’t have a degree in veterinary medicine, she was raised on a farm and helping animals is her passion. Erin lives in Conestoga with her boyfriend. She has her Standard Poodle, Chloe. In her free time, Erin loves to bake and share her treats with the crew here at LAH. She also likes to help her sons with their 4H Market Steer and Market Lamb projects.

Ashley Kuhns
Veterinary Assistant

Ashley graduated from the LCCTC Vet Assistant program in 2015. She started at Landisville Animal Hospital in March of 2020. She has a strong interest in exotic and wildlife animals, reptiles in particular. She lives in Marietta with her boyfriend along with their 2 rescued Bulldogs, 4 Cats, Bearded Dragon and Three Striped Mud Turtle. In her free time Ashley enjoys photography, reading and working outside in her gardens.

Alyssa Chalfant
Receptionist

Alyssa started working at LAH in April of 2021. She has two dogs, Chase, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, and Maya, a Wirehaired Dachshund, as well as two cats, Oliver, and Rocky. She also has a small flock of chickens,and a pet rabbit. Prior to working at LAH, she worked on a dairy farm where she enjoyed working with calves, and milking cows, and she showed livestock throughout her high school career. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys spending time outdoors hunting or fishing, shopping, drinking iced coffee, and spending time with her friends.

Becky Horn
Veterinary Technician

Becky graduated Cum Laude from West Virginia University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Animal and Veterinary Science in 2005. She has worked with both large and small animals and is certified in Artificial Insemination. Becky has been married to Chip since 2009 and they share their home with their sons Owen and Roarke. They recently rescued Holly a sweet and sassy kitten that keeps everyone busy. In the spring you can find Becky on the baseball field coaching her boys.

Madison Elliott
Veterinary Technician

Hi, I’m Madison! I’ve been a Veterinary Technician since 2011 and have been with Landisville since 2021. I enjoy assisting in surgery, performing dental cleanings and all things venipuncture. When I’m not at work, I’m at home with my husband, 2 kids and 4 fur kids. I have a German shepherd named Roland, Corgi mix named Hamm, a cat named Lincoln and a cat named Mini.
