Dr. Carla Douple

Dr. Carla Douple grew up right here in Lancaster County on a local “farmette”. She began to develop her love for all creatures great and small early in life as she “mothered” the various strays and back yard pets.

During summer breaks from Messiah College, Dr. Douple worked at Landisville Animal Hospital as a veterinary assistant. She then graduated with a bachelor of science in biology and a horticulture minor. In 1998, Dr. Douple graduated from The Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine. “When I was ready to come back to Lancaster County, I interviewed at several local practices, but Landisville Animal Hospital was where I belonged and I am here to stay.”

Dr. Douple is also the Vice President of the upcoming Dog Park Mount Joy. This private dog park opened in October 2016. (Click Here to Learn More About Dog Park Mount Joy)

Dr. Douple has been married to her husband, Steve since January of 1994. Their home, near Mount Joy, is currently shared with Waldo, a Great Dane; two French Bulldogs: Archie and Betty; one cat, Opal; and a flock of pet chickens. Dr. Douple enjoys gardening, crafts, and movies. She and her husband enjoy hiking, biking, and kayaking, and trips to their family lakeside cabin near Ithaca NY.

Dr. Krista Corey

Dr. Krista Corey is originally from Danielsville, PA, a very small town north of Allentown. Dr Corey grew up with her parents, two brothers and one sister with a multitude of pet including cats, dogs, pocket pets and a few chickens. Growing up in the country, riding horses and caring for her furry friends, she cultivated her love of animals. “I can’t remember a time when I wanted to be anything else but a veterinarian.”

Dr. Corey received her BS Degree in Animal Bioscience from The Pennsylvania State University in 1991. She went on to achieve her veterinary degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine graduating at the top of her class in 1995.

Dr. Corey has tended the dogs and cats of Lancaster County for the past 20 years. She was delighted to join Landisville Animal Hospital to serve the pets and their parents in 2013. She enjoys challenging internal medicine cases, puppy training tips and educating her clients.

In addition to her work at Landisville Animal Hospital, Dr. Corey also volunteers her time with KPETS. KPETS (Keystone Pet Enhanced Therapy Services) is a local organization that connects registered pet therapy teams with individuals who can benefit from the comfort, encouragement and rehabilitation that human/animal interaction brings. Dr. Andrew Keller, Veterinarian at Landisville Animal Hospital - Serving pet owners throughout greater Lancaster.

Dr. Andy Keller

Dr. Keller was born and raised in Lancaster County and attended Conestoga Valley High School. After high school he knew that a health profession was in his future, and after spending a few summers as a veterinary assistant at Smoketown Animal Hospital, he was drawn to veterinary medicine because of the challenges, the constant variety, and of course, the animals. His special interests include orthopedic and soft tissue surgery.

He graduated from Houghton College with a degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, and attended The Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2014. He spent a year and a half practicing in Elizabethtown, and joined the Landisville Animal Hospital team in the summer of 2015.

He and his wife, Lenore, their daughter Liesel and son Warren live in Elizabethtown with their cat Lou. He and Lenore have been married since 2010 and welcomed Liesel in September of 2015 and Warren in November of 2017. Dr. Keller enjoys roasting coffee, rowing, and cooking.

Dr. Amy Fish

Dr. Amy Fish grew up locally, in Mountville, PA and attended Hempfield High School. Upon graduation, she spent three summers working as a zookeeper at ZooAmerica in Hershey, PA, where she decided she wanted to become a veterinarian.

Dr. Fish is a graduate of the University of Maine, where she completed her bachelor’s degree in animal and veterinary science, with a minor in classical studies. After graduation, Dr. Fish decided to attend veterinary school at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh, Scotland.

While at RDSVS, she balanced her studies with playing rugby and travelling throughout Europe. She also began shadowing and spending time with the Landisville Animal Hospital staff during her summer breaks.

Upon graduating in June 2019, Dr. Fish was excited to join the Landisville Animal Hospital team. ‘I enjoy educating clients about pet health and look forward to making a lasting contribution at LAH’. Dr. Fish enjoys working with all animals, but has a special interest in exotic pets, especially small mammals and reptiles.

Outside of life as a vet, Dr. Fish enjoys spending time with her family and her husband, Darren. She enjoys baking, knitting, puzzles and spending time off at the beach. She is the proud pet mom to her cats, Lemon and Pepper (@LemonPepperCats on Instagram); and Herman, a red-footed tortoise.
