An ultrasound machine uses sound waves to image your pet’s internal organs. The scan is painless and allows us to check your pet’s liver, spleen, urinary tract, and gastrointestinal tract. This is a safe non-invasive tool that can help our doctors diagnose and treat your pet without the added expense of exploratory surgery or the inconvenience of a referral to a specialist. Both Dr. Hermann and Dr. Douple have received advanced training in ultrasonography.
